Our Team

Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms, LP, Team:

AWAKENINGS: This ranch has been asleep, a lovely giant, laying splendid in its repose, waiting for that moment when it can awaken once again. Now freshly energized, it is magnificent with possibility, vibrant in beauty, ready to be whole again.  On this place every breath we take is electric, charged with forward motion, driving us towards accomplishment and excellence, fueled by the expectancy of what can be.  As each new foal takes that first magical step, we are filled with the dreams of future greatness, and blessed by the gift of it all.   ~  Nadine

Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms Principals and Owners:

    Aileen Brazeau                   Paul Brazeau

Aileen BrazeauPaul Brazeau 1On March 05, 2012, Paul and Aileen Brazeau purchased and renamed (previously named Hemet Valley Thoroughbreds - Heavens View Thoroughbred Farm) Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms, LP.

A Southern California resident for many years, Paul Brazeau used his naval training in electrical engineering to build one of the largest electrical contracting businesses in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Shortly thereafter, he built 38 shopping centers in nine years.

Aileen-AtDelMarOpeningDay2012In the early 1990’s Paul and his wife Aileen Brazeau, invested in a seniors continuing care facility in San Clemente, California. After a $14M investment and two and a half years of construction, the Brazeau’s opened their three-acre San Clemente Villas by the Sea facility.

Ranch Manager Nadine Anderson and the Brazeau's have formed a partnership in the Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms. The Hemet, California property is transforming into a world-class equine facility, complete with a stallion barn, foaling barn, race track, Eurosizer and many other upgrades and expansions. Recent equine acquisitions include Grade 1 producer Molly's Prospector, dam of 2008 Malibu Stakes (G1) winner Bob Black Jack. Molly's Prospector is in foal for 2013 to Unusual Heat. In the near future, Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms will be adding other top performance mares and Stallions to our facility.

Nadine Anderson

Nadine Anderson is the Manager of Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms. She handles the day-to-day Ranch operations, including oversight of our staff and all aspects of the Ranch that involve: reproduction, breeding, training, rehab and lay-up care, client communication & discussing stallion seasons with owners during breeding season.

As the Grounds Manager, Nadine also manages a 15-member crew that maintains the grounds and facility for the guests, owners, and animals. She manages the crew responsible for the initial breaking & training of horses (supervising the riders, groomers and exercisers). Nadine is personally responsible for the care and activities of the stallions and mares.  The work includes the entire breeding operation, foaling out about 100 mares a year, as well as the training and lay-up facilities.

Not only do the lay-ups benefit from turnout but the Eurocizer and a stall which has a vibrating floor, helps to promote healing.  In the near future, the Ranch will be adding a cold-water spa as well.

BTF-Staff-at-GateNadine manages the equine care & reproduction of all of our animals to ensure that they receive the proper veterinary care, timely vaccinations & parasite control; she handles all of the horse nutrition every day. Nadine resides permanently on the Ranch.
